Subject	Rebuilt Engine now has Lifter Tick Help

Message	Tick tick tick tick tick.....that's all I hear now :(. The heads were stored while the bottom end was getting worked. The lifters were not disassembled or soaked in oil. They were perfectly quiet on the last engine and now suddenly started. Things i've tried: First oil 10w30 Tick started so I added 1qt ATF and ran it for a day Changed oil/filter to 10w40 and added MMO The ticking remains the same even after being driven for 40 minute periods. Oil pressure is good and when I remove the oil cap I can see oil lubricating the cam. Are there any other alternatives I could do before I have to pull the lifters out and rebuild/replace. I've never done a lifter job so I would like to gabber that as a last resort. Any products you've tried or suggestions are highly welcome. Thanks
